Socks are fun to knit and make a great portable project. Choose one of the self-patterning sock yarns and learn why once you make your first pair of socks you will be a sock knitter forever.

BEGINNING FELTING CLASS

Have you made a scarf? Do you want to try another fun project? How about a felted handbag? You will learn to knit in the round on a quick project. In addition to making an i-cord and picking up stitches. Grommets are provided.

BEGINNING FAIRISLE CLASS

Take the mystery out of those fabulous Norweigian sweaters with the beautiful patterning and colorwork. Learn the fine art of fairisle knitting. You will learn to knit with multiple colors at the same time while knitting in the round and finishing techniques (steeking).

1st and 3rd Saturday Mornings 9am - 10am Five Sessions: $50.00

TEXTURE CLASS

Want to learn cables, bobbles, braids and traditional celtic patternwork used in those fabulous fisherman knit sweaters? This class will last 12 months and when complete you will have a beautiful afghan for your own. Price of book is included in the cost of the class.

LACE CLASS

Learn the techniques to knit a traditional Estonian lace shawl. Price of pattern included in cost of class.

BEGINNING KNITTER CLASS

This class if for students who have never held a pair of knitting needles. You will learn the basics as you knit a couple of simple projects.

MY FIRST SWEATER CLASS

You are sick of scarves and ready to make your first sweater. We'll cover the basics and get you started on your first simple sweater project, knit in the round from the neck down.

KIDS & TEENS BEGINNING KNITTING CLASS

This is for those who are of the younger set and want to learn the basics of knitting.
